Make and edit images
Describe a picture and nokeep makes it. You can also edit your own photos. Images are saved in this browser.

How do I make an image?
- Tap Image in the mode pill next to the message box.
- Describe the picture (“Describe an image…”).
- Send. You get one image per message.
To change the shape, tap the lit Image part of the pill again and pick an Aspect ratio before you send.
What does Enhance prompt do?
With Enhance prompt on (the default), nokeep adds detail to your description before making the image. The rewritten prompt is shown under the result as Enhanced prompt.
To use your own words, turn Enhance prompt off in the Image settings, or press Edit and rerun under a result. Your prompt may still be adjusted when you attach images, build on earlier images in the chat, or write in a language other than English.
How do I edit my own photo?
- In Image mode, open then Add a photo to edit and pick a photo.
- Describe the change you want.
- Send.
With two or three photos, the first is the base and the rest are layered in. Only the first three are used. An edit uses one of the two free images a day; with credits it costs twice a new image.
What can I do with a result?
Under each image: Vary makes another take of the same prompt. Edit attaches the picture so you can describe a change. Animate makes a video clip that starts on this picture, and always uses credits (see Video).
To download, open the image full size and press Download.
Where are my images?
- In the sidebar, choose Gallery.
- Filter by Images or Video, or search your prompts.
The Gallery shows images and clips saved in this browser. Clear all deletes them and cannot be undone, so download what you want to keep first. Images made in a temporary chat are not kept.
Common questions
How many free images do I get?
2 new images a day, and edits count toward them. After that a new image costs 50 credits and an edit 100. See Plans and credits.
