Roleplay

AI roleplay chat, free, with no sign-up

nokeep is an AI roleplay chat with no sign-up: 10 messages and 2 images a day free, no account, and a model with no moderation layer added, so the scene stays in character and does not fade to black. There is no character library. You describe the persona once, in standing instructions, and it holds.

Updated

Anyone who has tried roleplay on a mainstream assistant knows the three failure modes. The character breaks and the assistant steps out to remind you it is an AI. The scene reaches anything adult and fades to black. Or the reply arrives wrapped in a small lecture about boundaries. None of that is the model being shy. It is a moderation layer, added by the product, reading the scene and stepping in.

nokeep adds no such layer. The open models behind it play the scene as written, and the product does not rewrite, block or score the reply. Roleplay stays in character because nothing is watching for a reason to break it. The law is the only limit: adults only, nothing involving minors, nothing non-consensual involving real people.

And there is no sign-up. Ten messages and two images a day are free, with no account, no email, no phone number and no card. You open nokeep.ai, describe who you want to talk to, and begin.

How do the character platforms compare?

The character platforms do roleplay well, and it is fair to say so. SpicyChat, per August 2026 reviews, gives unlimited free adult text after a settings toggle, with queues, ads and a 4K context on the free tier; paid plans are $5, $14.95 and $24.95 a month, images are paywalled, and there is no video or voice. JanitorAI, per June 2026 reviews, offers unlimited free chat on its own model with adult content allowed, text only and no images, with Janitor+ at $12.99 a month for more context and priority, and an option to bring your own API key.

CrushOn.AI, as of 2026, allows 50 free messages a day and charges from $5.99 a month. Some of its model options return empty replies on adult content, because the providers behind them moderate it regardless of what CrushOn allows, and free chat history is deleted after 7 days of inactivity. Character.AI is the opposite case: filtered, with an aggressive adult filter, and Plus at $9.99 a month. Hammer AI is free, unlimited and unfiltered with a local-model option, and has no image generation.

What these share is a library: characters written by other users, ready to pick. What they lack is video, and, outside paid tiers, images: SpicyChat paywalls them and JanitorAI has none. In the free tiers there is also a queue, a cap, or a filter someone else controls.

How does a persona work without a character library?

nokeep has no character library, and it is better to say so plainly than to hint otherwise. There is no gallery of bots, no community characters, no card with a face and a greeting. If you want a persona, you write it.

The tool for that is standing instructions: a persistent note that every reply reads before it answers. Put the character there, in a paragraph or a page. Name, voice, history, what they want, what they will not say, how the scene should feel. Then every message in the conversation inherits it, and you do not repeat yourself or watch the persona drift.

The chat persists in your browser until you erase it, so a long scene can run across days on the same device. What does not exist is a memory on our side: nokeep's servers keep nothing between sessions by design, so the persona lives in your standing instructions and on your device, not in an account.

Pictures of the scene, from the same box

The composer that plays the scene also draws it. Two images a day are free; after that an image is 100 credits. Describe the moment in the chat and ask for it, or attach a reference image and ask for an edit. Stills come in 1:1, 3:2, 16:9, 3:4 and 9:16.

There is also a 5-second video clip a day, free while the day's free clips last, in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1. Images and clips follow the same no-added-filter policy as the chat, and everything you make lands in a gallery kept on your device.

What does it cost after the free tier?

The free tier is 10 messages, 2 images and a clip a day, with no account. For unlimited roleplay, a plan from $15 a month makes chat unmetered and includes 200 images; the $79 and $149 plans include 1,000 and 2,000. Plans cancel any time and run to the end of the period. If you only want more images, $3 buys 3,000 credits, about 30 images, and they never expire.

Paying does not create an account either. Card or crypto, and what comes back is a claim key. The card statement descriptor is discreet. The conversation itself is never written to nokeep's servers, every engine runs under a no-retention agreement, nothing is used for training, and End now erases everything on the device. The honest limit is that the server holds a key that could, under compulsion, ask the payment processor who paid. The roleplay itself cannot be produced by anyone, because it was never stored.

Asked before you asked

Does it break character?

No. Breaking character is what a moderation layer does when it reads a scene it dislikes, and nokeep adds none. The open models play the persona you gave them in standing instructions and keep playing it. The only stop is the law: adults only, nothing involving minors, nothing non-consensual involving real people.

Is there a character library?

No. nokeep has no gallery of bots and no community characters. You write the persona yourself, once, in standing instructions, and every reply reads it. If picking from thousands of ready-made characters is what you want, SpicyChat and JanitorAI are built for that; nokeep is built for the scene you write.

Will it fade to black?

No. Fade to black is a filter deciding a scene has gone far enough, and there is no added filter here. Adult roleplay between adults runs as written. CrushOn users see the other failure, empty replies on adult content from some model options as of 2026, because the providers behind those models moderate anyway.

Is it really free with no sign-up?

Yes. Ten messages, two images and a 5-second clip a day, free, with no account, email, phone number or card. Unlimited chat needs a plan from $15 a month. Even paying creates no account: you get a claim key, and the conversation stays in your browser, never on our servers.

Can it show me the scene?

Yes. The same composer makes images and short video under the same policy. Ask for the moment you are in and it renders it; attach a reference and it edits from that. Two images and a clip a day are free, then 100 credits an image and 300 a clip, with $3 buying 3,000 credits.

Does it remember the roleplay tomorrow?

On your device, yes: the chat persists in your browser until you erase it, and the persona stays in standing instructions. On our side, no: nokeep keeps nothing between sessions by design, so there is no account to hold the story and nothing to recover once you press End now.
