Make a photo talk

Add a face, type the words, and it says them with a voice and moving lips.

A talking clip is a video from a photo: 480 credits for 5 seconds, about $0.48. $5 is about 10 clips. No subscription, credits never expire.

No account, no email. Your photo goes to the model to make this and is not kept on our servers. The result is saved in your browser.

“You’re still up? Good. Stay with me a while.”One picture, one line of words, a speaking clip. Turn the sound on.

Add a photo of a face, type what it should say, and nokeep makes a short clip where the person speaks your words, with a voice and matching lip movement. No account, no email and no app. A five-second clip is 480 credits, about 48 cents.

How it works

Step 1: Add a photo with one clear face, ideally looking toward the camera.

Step 2: Type the words. Short lines work best: a sentence or two fits in five seconds, and a longer message needs a longer clip.

Step 3: Open it in nokeep and send. The clip starts from your photo, and the person says the line with a voice chosen to fit the picture. Change the words and make it again until it sounds right.

Getting a natural result

A face that fills a good part of the frame, in even light, gives the best lip movement. Sunglasses, hands over the mouth and strong side angles make it harder.

Write the words the way people talk. Add how it is said if it matters: “quietly”, “laughing”, “like she is telling a secret”. Ten to twenty words suit a five-second clip.

What it costs

A talking clip is a video made from a photo: 96 credits a second, 480 credits for five seconds, about 48 cents. Credits start at $5, enough for about 10 five-second clips, and never expire. The Plus plan at $15 a month covers about 41 five-second clips.

Whose face you can use

Your own face, people who have agreed, and characters you made. Never use a real person’s face to put words in their mouth without their consent, and never to deceive anyone about what they said. Clips of public figures saying invented things are against nokeep’s terms, and sexual clips of real people and anything involving minors are always refused.

The photo and the clip are saved in your browser, not on nokeep’s servers, and the processing runs under zero-data-retention terms.
