Character, new scene

Put the same character in a new scene

Add a picture of your character and say where they are now. Same face and outfit, new place or pose. 2 free a day.

Each new scene is an edit: free for 2 pictures a day, then 100 credits, about 10 cents. Then make it move for 500 credits. No account, no email. Your photo goes to the model to make this and is not kept on our servers. The result is saved in your browser.

A painted character: a silver-haired courier in a teal coat in a sunny market square

on an airship deck at night, holding a lantern, looking back

The same courier, same coat and satchel, on an airship deck at night holding a lantern

The same character, moved from a market square to an airship at night.

How it works

  1. 01Add your character
  2. 02Say the new scene or pose
  3. 03Same character, somewhere new

Add one picture of your character, a drawing, a render or a photo, say where they are now or what they are doing, and nokeep draws the same character there, keeping the face, hair, outfit and art style. It counts as one of the 2 free pictures a day, with no account, and the result can become a clip.

How do I keep a character the same across pictures?

Step 1: Add the clearest picture you have of the character: the whole figure if the outfit matters, a close-up if the face does.

Step 2: Say the new scene or pose: “on an airship deck at night, holding a lantern”, “sitting in a rainy café, reading”, “mid-jump over a rooftop gap”.

Step 3: Open it in nokeep and send. Keep the one that looks right, then use it as the reference for the next scene, so a series stays on model.

What stays the same, and what can drift?

The instruction asks to keep the face, hair, body, outfit, colours and the art style of your picture. Big, distinct features hold best: a silver undercut, a teal coat, a scar, a bright scarf.

Small details drift first: the number of buttons, a logo on a bag, a pattern on a sleeve, and a face seen from a very different angle. Name the detail that matters in your line (“keep the brass buttons and the scar over the left eye”), and start each new scene from your best picture rather than from the last result.

What is it good for?

Comic panels and storyboards, a character sheet in several poses, scenes for a story or a roleplay, a mascot in seasonal pictures, a game character in new locations. For a short film with the same cast in every shot, Studio does this across a whole script.

Use characters you made or have the right to use, and keep them adults.

What it costs, and what happens to the picture

Each new scene is an edit: it shares the 2 free pictures a day, then costs 100 credits, about 10 cents. Make any scene move for 500 credits per 5 seconds.

Your picture and the results are saved in your browser, not on nokeep’s servers, and processed under zero-data-retention terms. nokeep does not train on your characters.

Sources

Asked before you asked

Is it free?

Yes, for 2 pictures a day with no account. After that each scene is 100 credits.

Does it work with drawings and 3D renders?

Yes. It keeps the art style of the picture you add: anime stays anime, a painting stays painted.

How do I keep a long series consistent?

Start every new scene from your best picture of the character, and name the details that matter in each line.

Can I put two characters together?

Yes, with the combine photos tool: add a picture of each and say the scene.

Does nokeep keep my character?

No. Pictures are saved in your browser and processed under zero-data-retention terms.
