Best free AI image generators with no sign-up (2026)
Three of the free AI image generators we checked work with no account at all: Perchance, Craiyon and nokeep. Bing Image Creator, Gemini, Leonardo and Ideogram are free too, but each asks you to sign in first, and on some of them the pictures you make are public. We checked every free tier on 3 October 2026.
Free every day · No account or card

The short version
No account needed: Perchance (free and unlimited), Craiyon (free, with ads and a watermark), nokeep (2 free images a day, kept in your browser).
Free with an account: Bing Image Creator (a Microsoft account), Gemini (a Google account), Leonardo (150 tokens a day), Ideogram (a weekly batch of slow credits, and free images are public).
If you want the most pictures for nothing, Perchance is the honest answer. If you want a few good pictures without handing over an email, and without your prompts sitting in someone’s account history, nokeep is built for that.
1. nokeep
Account: none. No email, no password and no card. Free: 2 images a day, and editing a photo you upload counts toward the same 2.
Your prompts and pictures are saved in your browser, not on nokeep’s servers, so there is no account history to leak or delete later. After the free images, a new image is 50 credits, about 5 cents. Credits start at $5 and never expire. Illegal content is always blocked.
The catch: 2 a day is a small allowance, and clearing your browser data removes your pictures, so download the ones you want to keep.
2. Perchance
Account: none. Perchance’s text-to-image page describes itself as free, with no sign-up and no limit. An account is only needed if you want to build your own generators on the site.
It is the most generous free option here. The trade-off is fewer settings than the tools that ask you to sign in. As with any free site, read its privacy page before typing anything personal.
3. Craiyon
Account: none to start. Craiyon, once known as DALL·E mini, says free image generation is open to everyone, and reviews confirm you can generate without signing up.
Free images carry ads on the page and a watermark; paid plans remove both. Craiyon’s pricing page lists generated images as public even on its cheapest paid plan, so assume what you make there can be seen by others.
4. Bing Image Creator
Account: a personal Microsoft account. Microsoft’s help page says it is free for everyone with one, and that work or school accounts cannot use it.
You get a small number of fast creations, then unlimited creations at standard speed, which can be noticeably slower. Your creations are tied to your Microsoft account.
5. Gemini
Account: a Google account. Google’s help page says you must be signed in to create images, be at least 13, and be 18 or over to edit images.
Free accounts download images at 1K resolution, and usage limits refresh every five hours up to a weekly cap that Google does not publish as a number.
6. Leonardo
Account: required. Free users get 150 tokens a day, reset every 24 hours. Unused tokens do not carry over, and how many images 150 tokens buys depends on the model and settings you choose.
It has more controls than most free tools here, which makes it a good pick if you want to experiment with styles and are happy to sign up.
7. Ideogram
Account: required. The free plan gets a weekly batch of slow credits for eligible accounts; Ideogram’s help pages put it at 10 slow credits a week, up to about 40 images.
Ideogram is known for getting text inside images right, such as signs and posters. On the free plan every image you make is public in its community gallery; private generation is a paid feature.
Who can see your pictures
This is the difference most roundups skip. On Ideogram’s free plan your images are public. On Craiyon, generated images are public even on a paid plan. On Bing, Gemini and Leonardo your creations are tied to an account the company holds.
Perchance and nokeep need no account. On nokeep, your pictures stay in your own browser and nokeep keeps no gallery of them.
How we checked
We read each tool’s own pricing and help pages on 3 October 2026, and used independent reviews only where the official page was silent; every source is listed below. Free tiers change often, so check the tool’s pricing page before you rely on a number. We left out tools that had no free image generation at the time of checking.

Not always. Ideogram’s free images are public, and Craiyon lists images as public even on a paid plan. nokeep keeps your pictures in your browser rather than on its servers.
How many free images does nokeep give?
2 a day, with no account, and a photo edit counts as one of them. After that a new image is 50 credits, about 5 cents.
