Getting started with nokeep
nokeep needs no account, email or password. Open it and type. Your chats are saved in this browser on this device.

How do I send my first message?
- Go to nokeep.ai/chat.
- Type in the box that says “Ask anything…”.
- Press Enter or the send button.
The chat is saved in this browser as soon as it starts and appears under Chats in the sidebar. On a phone, open the sidebar with the menu button at the top.
How do I switch between chat, images and video?
The pill next to the message box has three parts: Chat, Image and Video.
- Tap Image to describe a picture, or Video to describe a short clip.
- Type what you want and send.
- Tap Chat to go back to talking.
The pill can also switch by itself when your message clearly asks for a picture, and it says so. Tap the part you want to stay in. See Images and Video.
What is free?
Every day: 25 messages, 2 new images, and 1 five-second video clip from text while the free supply lasts. No card or account needed. The counts reset at midnight UTC.
When you run out, nokeep shows what a plan or credits would add. Nothing is charged unless you buy. See Plans and credits.
Why does nokeep.ai/chat open on an empty chat?
nokeep.ai/chat always starts on an empty chat, even when you have saved chats. They are still in the sidebar; pick one to open it.
While a chat is open, the address ends in /chat/ and an id. Reloading that address opens the same chat in the same browser. The id means nothing in another browser or on another device.
A reload does lose three things: a temporary chat, which is never saved; attached images and large files, of which only the names are kept; and a picture or clip that was still being made.
How do I start a chat that is not saved?
- Tap Temporary chat next to New chat in the sidebar. On a phone it is in the chat header.
- Chat as normal.
A temporary chat is not saved and does not read or add to your memory. It is gone when you leave it or reload.
Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. The free allowance needs no email, password or card. If you buy a plan or credits, you get an account key instead of a login. See Your account key.
Where are my chats kept?
In this browser on this device. nokeep keeps no server copy of your chats, so another browser or device does not show them. A backup moves them: Back up and restore.
Can I choose the AI model?
No. nokeep picks the model for each job. The badge on each reply shows which model wrote it.
