Turn my text into a film

Comes with every plan, or pay per film with credits.

Studio

To turn text into a video story, nokeep Studio reads your line, writes it as a script of short takes, casts the characters, draws the opening frame of every take and then films them into one video. You read the script and see the storyboard first, and the price shows before anything is filmed.

Why does text-to-video usually lose the story?

Most text-to-video tools make one clip from one prompt. That works for a single moment, such as a wave breaking or a cat on a windowsill, but a story needs more: people who look the same from shot to shot, things that happen in order, and an ending.

Strung-together clips tend to drift. The hero’s coat changes colour, the room changes shape, and nothing connects the first shot to the last. A story needs a script and a cast before it needs a camera.

How nokeep Studio turns words into a story on screen

Script first. Studio writes your line out as takes, each with what is said, what happens, where the camera is and what is heard. It is ordinary text you can read and change before anything else happens.

Then the cast. Each character in the script gets one picture in the film’s look, and that picture is used in every take they appear in, which is what keeps a face the same from the first shot to the last. You can swap in someone from your own library at this step.

Then the pictures. Studio draws the places and the opening frame of every take, so the whole film exists as a storyboard you can look over. Redraw any frame you do not like.

Then the film. Each take is filmed from its frame and the takes are joined in order, into one video you can watch, download and keep.

What kind of text works best?

A single line with a person, a place and something happening: “a pear detective works the fruit market in the rain,” or “the night the sea came up the stairs.” Studio writes the rest.

Longer text works too. Paste a short scene or the outline of a story into the line, and the script follows it more closely. If it reads like a whole book, pick the part that makes the best few seconds of film, or make it a series of episodes.

How do you change the story before it is filmed?

Through the Director, a chat beside the film that knows the script, the cast and the pictures. Ask it to change the ending, to add a line for a character, to make a scene shorter, or to try a different look, and it rewrites the film to match.

You can also edit by hand: change a line of dialogue, move a take, or change the length of one. Nothing is filmed until you press Make the film.

What it costs and where the video goes

Studio comes with every nokeep plan, or you pay per film with credits. It shows the price of the pictures and the filming before it films, worked out from the script, and you are never charged more than that price. Credits are not refundable once bought.

The finished video is saved on your device, not in an account. Our server keeps it only while it is being made or changed, and deletes it within the hour after. Download it to keep a copy elsewhere.

Asked before you asked

Can I turn a whole story into a video?

A film runs 5 to 90 seconds, so one film holds a scene or a short story. For a longer story, plan a series: the same cast comes back in every episode.

Does the video have sound?

Each take is filmed with its own sound, including spoken lines where the script has them. No music is added.

Will the characters look the same in every shot?

Yes, that is what the cast step is for. Each character has one picture that every take they appear in is filmed from.

Is it free to turn text into a video story?

Studio is not part of the free use of nokeep. It comes with every paid plan, or you can pay per film with credits, and you see the price before anything is filmed.
