Add nokeep to your home screen

nokeep is a web app. On a phone you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app. There is nothing to download from an app store.

Where do I find the install option?

On a phone or tablet, the bottom of the sidebar shows Install app or Add to Home Screen. It is hidden on a computer, inside the installed app, and in in-app browsers such as Instagram or TikTok. Open nokeep in your normal browser first.

How do I add it on iPhone or iPad?

The home screen app on iPhone starts empty, so bring your chats with a backup.

  1. In nokeep, tap Add to Home Screen in the sidebar and press Save backup when the guide asks. See Back up and restore.
  2. In Safari, tap Share (at the bottom of the screen on iPhone, top right on iPad), then Add to Home Screen. On newer Safari, tap ••• first, then Share, then View More.
  3. Leave Open as Web App on, then tap Add.
  4. Open the new nokeep icon and choose Restore backup.

Chrome, Edge and Firefox on iPhone have their own Share button with the same Add to Home Screen option. On iOS older than 16.4, use Safari.

How do I add it on Android?

On Android your chats come with it, so there is nothing to back up first.

  1. If you see Install app in the sidebar, tap it and confirm.
  2. Otherwise open the browser menu (⋮).
  3. Tap Install, Add to Home screen, or Add page to, then Home screen. The words depend on the browser.
