Best private AI chats with no sign-up (2026)

Seven AI chats we checked work with no account at all: nokeep, Duck.ai, Brave Leo, Proton Lumo, Venice, notrack.ai and Nymbot. The real difference is where your conversations end up: on your own device, erased when the session ends, or on the company’s servers. We read each one’s own privacy and pricing pages on 12 October 2026.

The short version

Chats kept only on your device: nokeep, Duck.ai, Brave Leo and Venice. Erased when you close the session: Proton Lumo as a guest. Kept on the company’s servers for 30 days: notrack.ai. Tied to a key on your device and paid in Bitcoin: Nymbot.

Our pick is nokeep: no account and no email, chats only in your browser, your IP address never stored, AI providers that keep nothing, and the only free daily video clip here, on top of chat and images. Duck.ai is a good plain-chat option, and Brave Leo suits people already on the Brave browser.

1. nokeep

Account: none. No email, no password and no card. Free: 25 chat messages a day, plus 2 images and a short video clip.

Saved chats, memory and generated pictures live in your browser, never on nokeep’s servers. Your IP address is never stored, every request is encrypted in transit, and nokeep’s AI providers work under zero-data-retention terms, so they keep nothing.

It is the only one here with a free video clip every day, on top of images, photo edits and characters for story chat. More use costs credits from $5, which never expire, or a plan from fifteen dollars a month.

2. Duck.ai

Account: none. DuckDuckGo says it removes your IP address and other personal metadata before a prompt reaches the companies whose models it offers, and that those companies may not train on your chats and must delete them within 30 days at most.

Recent chats are saved on your device by default, and you can turn saving off. DuckDuckGo does not publish the free daily limit. Paid plans start at $9.99 a month and bundle a VPN. Duck.ai follows the model companies’ usage policies, so some requests are refused.

3. Brave Leo

Account: none, but it lives inside the Brave browser, so you need to install Brave first. Brave says it does not collect your IP address, discards a conversation from its servers once the answer is generated, and does not use chats for training.

Chat history is kept on your device and can be turned off. The free tier has rate limits Brave describes as reasonable; Leo Premium is $14.99 a month.

4. Proton Lumo

Account: none for guest access at lumo.proton.me. Proton says a guest conversation is erased at the end of the session, that it keeps no logs of what you ask, and that chats are not used for training.

Guests get a limited number of prompts. A free Proton account adds saved history with zero-access encryption, and Lumo Plus is $12.99 a month, or $9.99 a month billed yearly.

5. Venice

Account: none for basic use, with daily limits; Venice’s help pages put the free tier at 10 text prompts a day. Conversations are stored in your browser, and Venice says it does not store or log prompts and responses on its servers.

Without an account, Venice says it collects basic metadata such as your timezone, browser type and IP address, partly to stop abuse. Pro is $18 a month and adds unlimited text prompts.

6. notrack.ai

Account: none, and everyday chat has no stated daily cap; a paid plan buys faster replies at busy times. It runs its own model on its own servers, and says chats are not used for training.

Its homepage says it keeps nothing, but its privacy policy says it does store your conversations so you can come back to them, deletes them after 30 days, and links them to an anonymous cookie. You can delete a chat yourself at any time.

7. Nymbot

Account: none. A key is generated on your device and becomes your identity, your history and your balance, so if you lose it, nobody can restore your chats. Messages are end-to-end encrypted.

There is no free tier: you buy credits over Bitcoin’s Lightning Network and pay per reply. An anonymous mode moves a conversation onto a throwaway key so the service cannot tell who is asking.

Where your chats are kept

This is the question most lists skip. No sign-up only means you did not hand over an email; it says nothing about what happens to the conversation. On nokeep, Duck.ai, Brave Leo and Venice your history stays on your own device. A Lumo guest chat disappears when the session ends. notrack.ai keeps conversations on its servers for 30 days. Nymbot files your history under a key only you hold.

How we checked

We read each service’s own privacy, help and pricing pages on 12 October 2026, and used independent reviews only where the official page was silent; every source is listed below. We left out tools that now ask you to sign in before the first message, and assistants such as ChatGPT and Perplexity whose guest modes keep fewer privacy promises. Free tiers change often, so check the service’s own page before relying on a number.
